Mística & Rústica
Between two worlds
Celler Credo’s la Mística and la Rústica are two singular parcels of land owned by the Recaredo family and situated in Montpedrós, in an enchanting natural environment in the foothills of Alt Penedès. These two small vineyards are cultivated manually, following the principles of ecological and biodynamical agriculture. All heavy work is fully done by animals, avoiding the use of tractors to work the soil and care for the vines. The typographic treatment of la Mística is light and ethereal, representing the spiritual side of this wine. The divine. La Rústica alludes to an earthlier side, related with the manual elaboration process and the fact it is closely linked to the countryside, human endeavour and the soil.
Celler Credo is the tranquil wines project of the family and staff of Recaredo. Although they have been working on a small production of white wines since 1990, only now, after more than 20 years of studies and trials, do they offer their range of wines, always working with the Xarel·lo variety, ecology and biodynamics, and in Alt Penedès.
